Barrett House, also known as Forest Hall, is a historic house museum built c. 1800 by Charles Barrett Sr. for his son, Charles, Jr., on the occasion of his marriage. Barrett House museum complex features family furnishings, French scenic wallpaper, and a third-floor ballroom with antique musical instruments, as well as gardens and a Gothic Revival summer house that crowns the terrace hillside. The museum is open the first and third Saturdays of the month from June 1 to October 15. Guided tours of the house museum are conducted from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., on the hour.
